Lagging Behind with Week Six - Google Book
I had accidently come across this page whilst searching for book details for ordering and inter library loans. I really didn't take too much notice of where I was as long as I had the details/information I needed.
Exploring Google Maps With Week Six
Spent heaps of time exploring - amazed with google earth.
This is where I spent my very early dog years in the countryside.

Now that I am a city dog, this is my new/old neighbourhood.

Getting Social With Week Five - MySpace/Facebook
I actually know a little bit about MySpace as my niece has her own. I'm quite impressed although it's not for me!!!! Much too revealing for my liking....
Signed up for MySpace and Facebook but not sure whether I will be socialising on these.

Much Angst Over Week Four
After much trepidation I finally signed onto Bloglines. Feeling more confident now with registering onto various unknown sites. Phew that was easy!!...now for the hard part.
After much fiddling around and not knowing what I'm doing I finally somehow subscribed to various blogs....
Still a little confused about RSS and Feedeaders until I spoke to my work colleague who kindly explained to me in layman's term what it means and how useful it can be and showed me how he uses this in his job to make things much easier....
Slowly getting my head around this and may find this useful in the near future.
It always hard trying new things for the first time...
Time now for a strong cuppa and some chocolate!!!!!

Attempting Week Three

The history of Lilian Jackson Braun is perhaps as exciting and mysterious as her novels. Between 1966 and 1968, she published three novels to critical acclaim; The Cat Who Could Read Backwards, The Cat Who Ate Danish Modern and The Cat Who Turned On and Off. In 1966, The New York Times labeled Braun, "the new detective of the year." Then, for reasons unknown, the rising mystery author disappeared from the publishing scene. It wasn't until 1986 that the Berkley Publishing Group reintroduced Braun to the public with the publication of an original paperback, The Cat Who Saw Red. Within two years, Berkley released four new novels in paperback and reprinted the three mysteries from the sixties.
Even though Braun claims that her cats have never done anything extraordinary, her fictional cats, Koko and Yum Yum, solve crimes and delight fans in book after book. Braun says the reason for her success is that "people are simply tired of all the blood. I write what is called the classic mystery." She says that while "not all mystery fans may like cats, all cat-fanciers seem to like mysteries.
